We have some important updates and thrilling news regarding the Airdrop program. Our goal is to ensure a fair and rewarding experience for all participants, and we are making necessary adjustments to maintain the integrity of our system. This blog post will cover the latest updates on Season 1 and what you can expect from the upcoming Season 2.
Season 1 Updates
Extension of Season 1: Due to recent issues involving referral recalculations and the presence of bad actors attempting to abuse the system, we have decided to extend the current Airdrop season until June 16th, 2024. This extension will give us the necessary time to thoroughly review and secure our airdrop distribution, ensuring that only legitimate participants receive their tokens.
Token Distribution for Season 1: We have increased the total token allocation for the entire program to 3.5 million FUSE tokens: 1 million FUSE tokens will be distributed shortly after Season 1 ends on June 16th, and 2.5 million FUSE tokens will be allocated for Season 2.
Referral Points Recalculation: We identified an error in the referral program, which resulted in users who invited referrals receiving more points than they should have. This issue has been fixed, and points have been recalculated correctly for all participants performing the referrals. Future points will be accrued accurately, reflecting true engagement. Please note that by next week, we will have updated the points in the Airdrop UI for all participants. This correction is made in your best interest to maintain fairness in the distribution process.
Upcoming Season 2 Launch
Launch Date and Increased Rewards: We are excited to announce that Season 2 of the Fuse Airdrop program will commence on June 17th. In this new season, we are significantly increasing the reward pool, allocating 2.5 million FUSE tokens for participants. This increase aims to provide greater incentives and opportunities for engagement within the Fuse ecosystem.
Enhanced Quests and Engagement: Season 2 will feature a variety of new and exciting quests, with additional quests provided by our third-party partner, Layer3. These quests are designed to enhance your engagement and discovery within the Fuse network, offering a richer and more rewarding experience. The season will run on a rolling basis, allowing for continuous participation and opportunities to earn.
