Fuse Integrates Leading Cross-Chain Router Via Exchange

Via Protocol

Cross-chain swap router Via Exchange has added support for the Fuse Network blockchain, making asset swap options available to Fuse users by 70 DEXs on 25 blockchains connected by 25 bridge platforms.

Over the last few months, one of the focus areas for the Fuse team has been boosting the interoperability of the Fuse Network blockchain with other networks in a user-friendly manner.

One prong of this process has been securing integrations with platforms that aggregate decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and cross-chain and multi-chain bridges to allow users to see all the available routes for their desired cross-chain asset transfers or swaps.

The latest boost to Fuse’s connectivity comes from integrating the Via Exchange cross-chain router.

One aggregator to unite them all

Via is a platform focused on supercharging interoperability among public blockchains. It aggregates not just decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and multichain and cross-chain bridges but also other DEX and bridge aggregators, including Li.Fi and Rango.

Thanks to its intelligent routing system, Via can automatically scan over 70 DEXs across 25 networks and 21 of the most popular cross-chain bridges. It can automatically detect the fastest and cheapest swap routes and perform any-to-any swaps within 60 seconds.

Via also strives to help users navigate bridges safely, which may come in handy in light of the recent high-profile bridge exploits. Via’s watchdog monitors the transactions of all aggregated bridges and automatically disables hacked bridges and those with expired liquidity. In their UI, Via shows how bridges are decentralized, the number of audits, and the presence of a centralized relayer in the route.

For most swaps, Via will execute them using the supported DEXs and bridges directly. It relies on other DEX and bridge aggregators in some instances that involve complicated, multi-stage cross-chain swapping routes.

How Fuse Integrates Via Protocol

Via Exchange has now integrated the Fuse Network blockchain enabling Fuse users to explore cross-chain swap options to and from Fuse inside the Via app.

Via has added support for the Voltage Finance DEX for swaps from and to the Fuse Network blockchain. Among the multichain bridges that support the Fuse Network blockchain, Via integrates Connext and Multichain. It will soon also activate routing via the Allbridge platform. Via can route from or to various popular tokens on Fuse, including FUSE, fUSD, USDC, USDT, WETH, and so on.

In addition, projects building on top of Fuse that wishes to avail themselves of cross-chain swapping capabilities can explore the possibilities offered by Via’s APIs that can be put to use via a Javascript software development kit (SDK).
