Moon Ape Labs is aiming at raising funds for restoring the environment through the sale of original NFTs from the Moon Ape collection on Ethereum. They will mint 30 moon ape NFTs on Fuse that will be allocated to major components and projects within the Fuse ecosystem.
When most people think about blockchains and cryptocurrencies these days, they are usually lured to the technological and financial aspects of the industry. This is understandable given the groundbreaking technologies the crypto space has given rise to and the spectacular growth in cryptocurrencies’ market capitalizations.
However, one should not overlook the fact that the tools enabled by crypto and the space’s potential to harness bottom-up cooperation of like-minded people from all over the globe also make it highly suitable for effective non-profit action aimed at addressing pressing real-world problems.
Lately, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) have become arguably the fastest-growing crypto industry sector. The Moon Ape Labs project team has decided to capitalize on the NFT sector’s clout and channel part of its impetus towards charitable causes.
NFTs to Help Revive the Earth
Inspired by the path-breaking success of The Bored Apes Yacht Club, Moon Ape Labs is an NFT project whose goal is to create a unique NFT collection whose sale proceeds will be donated to environmental charities. The project aims at raising at least $1 million by selling the minted NFTs which will then be made available to a major environmental NGO.
Currently, the Moon Ape Labs team is looking for blockchain projects to collaborate with in order to raise awareness about their NFT offering through special NFT giveaways outside of the main collection
Moon Apes giveaway on Fuse
Almost from the inception of the project, the Fuse team has been actively looking for opportunities to put our tech at the service of the greater good. Not just by attempting to facilitate the access to the opportunities blockchain technology provides for those who are ignored or underserved by the existing financial system but also by participating in initiatives such as GoodFi.
At the same time, Fuse has also recently seen a vibrant NFT ecosystem emerge on top of the platform. NFT projects recently launched on Fuse include Fuse Bar, Fuse Punks and Cozy Cosmonauts. General-purpose NFT marketplace Artrific (currently in beta testing) is going to be fully launched soon, along with the upcoming NFT support within the Fuse Cash consumer-facing wallet.
Moon Ape Labs will mint a series of unique Moon Ape NFTs on Fuse Network. Branded NFTs will be allocated for each participating community and platform on Fuse, including Fuse itself, FuseFi, Fuse Cash, Peepl, GoodDollar, Kolektivo, Comunitaria and Flambu.
