Retail user-focused DEX and bridge aggregator Swidge has added support for Fuse Network. Fuse users can make on-chain and cross-chain asset swaps using Swidge’s simple-to-use interface and benefit from the platform’s streamlined and low-cost routing functionality.
One of the pillars of Fuse’s vision is our firm belief in a multichain future with robust interoperability. In line with this conviction, one of the focus areas of the Fuse team this year has been securing integrations with various platforms connecting the Fuse Network blockchain to other chains.
One crucial platform types are decentralized exchanges (DEX) and cross-chain bridge aggregators. This enables users to smoothly swap an asset on Fuse Network for the same or another asset on another chain and vice versa.
Today, we are happy to announce the integration with Swidge, a DEX and bridge aggregator with a specific focus on retail users.
A retail user-centric DEX and Bridge aggregator
Much like Fuse, Swidge wants to contribute to creating a future where DeFi is the norm for all. It currently does this by offering user experience-centric solutions for users swapping assets.
Swidge lets you exchange any asset for any asset, regardless of whether the two assets are on the same chain. Most importantly, only one confirmation is required from the user, irrespective of how many pathways the trade has. Swidge’s algorithm is what makes this possible. It leverages existing liquidity to uncover optimal routes for trades.
It does this while keeping cross-chain transactions and slippage low. It additionally pre-approves liquid pathways through its smart contracts and brings users even more savings, especially to their signing allowances. This makes it possible for users to swap even relatively small amounts, opening cross-chain asset swapping to the public.
Swidge saves users significant amounts of time they would otherwise spend searching for routes and making several confirmations. It delivers the fastest and cheapest swap available in a highly simplified experience.
Swidge is also planning to introduce several significant upgrades to its platform. The additional functionalities in the pipeline for Swidge include NFT bridge aggregation, the Swidge mobile app, and the native Swidge token.
The two software development kits (SDKs) under development are envisaged to enable DEXs and bridges to incorporate themselves into Swidge and to allow DeFi platforms to plug Swidge’s service into their interfaces. The project team also aims to make the platform fully decentralized and governed by its community.
How Fuse integrates Swidge
Swidge has now extended support for the Fuse Network blockchain making its platform’s benefits available to the Fuse community. FUSE and a selection of other popular tokens on the Fuse Network blockchain are supported by the protocol’s dApp.
Users can now swap Fuse assets for those on other blockchains or acquire assets on Fuse with no technical expertise or experience needed at minimal time and financial cost.
