As we draw the curtains on the Fuse Summer 2024 Hackathon, we’re overwhelmed by the spirit of innovation, collaboration, and technological advancement over the past three weeks. With participants joining from across the globe—from Chile to Nigeria, Vietnam to Kenya, UAE to Hong Kong—this hackathon has truly epitomized the global and inclusive nature of the blockchain community.

An Impressive Showcase of Talent

Over 150 hackers participated in the hackathon, culminating in many groundbreaking submissions. Each project showcased the remarkable potential and creativity of all participants, who worked tirelessly to turn their visionary ideas into reality using the Fuse platform.

Our participants, hailing from various corners of the world, brought diverse perspectives that enriched the event with various innovative solutions. These ranged from decentralized finance (DeFi) applications to mobile solutions, all built using the Fuse SDK or the Flutter SDK, leveraging the versatility and power of the Fuse ecosystem.

  1. Prime Wallet (Fuse 4337)

Prime Wallet aspires to be the leading cryptocurrency wallet on the Fuse blockchain, offering a secure, user-friendly platform for managing digital assets. It aims to simplify blockchain interactions and empower users with a comprehensive suite of features, bridging the gap between advanced technology and everyday usability.

Prime Wallet is a Flutter-based mobile application for the Fuse blockchain, providing secure multi-currency support, smart account management, token transactions, savings goals, and educational content. It is designed to be intuitive, secure, and feature-rich for seasoned users and newcomers.

  1. Thriftchain

ThriftChain is a cutting-edge financial management tool that leverages blockchain technology to facilitate both individual and group-based savings or thrift activities. Users can save and contribute towards set financial goals using stablecoins, with customizable saving frequencies. 

By leveraging the transparency and security of blockchain technology, ThriftChain empowers users to achieve their financial goals through disciplined savings, financial planning, and collaborative efforts.

  1. Pudu Finance

Pudu Finance is a Web3 application designed to promote financial stability and help people worldwide, especially in countries where local currencies suffer from hyperinflation, to save in US Dollars. The application aims to incentivize saving in a stable currency through PUDU token rewards.

Users can deposit their tokens into the smart contract, where they will earn PUDU tokens and Pudu Power for maintaining their savings. Pudu Power indicates the total amount of PUDU tokens that will be received as a reward when withdrawing savings.

Additionally, the accumulated Pudu Power will determine the position on the leaderboard, where users within the top 1000 positions will be eligible for rewards in the form of airdrops and NFTs that will further multiply the tokens received when withdrawing savings.

  1. InFuse

InFuse is a mini telegram app Web3 Crypto wallet that supports multiple EVM chains including Fuse Network. It enables users to save, transfer and buy Cryptocurrency on Infuse in a simple and straightforward manner.

  1. DeFi Lending and Borrowing Fuse for Bitcoin Ordinals

Fuse Ordinals is P2P (peer-to-peer) borrowing and lending protocol on Fuse Network. Borrowers can borrow FUSE tokens against their ordinals while lenders can lend out their FUSE holdings to earn interest (a yield) against them. APYs can go as high as 350%.

This is facilitated securely through smart contracts on the Fuse network. Ordinals are stored as collateral and can be retrieved by burning bridge NFTs on the network.

  1. Monetizado

Monetizado is an on-chain pay-per-view platform that allows you to monetize any web page and static content through Web3 in EVM networks. 

The platform can be applied to any news site, social network, content portal, website and platform. It incentivizes users to pay to not see advertising on the sites they visit for a better browsing experience.

Prizes and Upcoming Closing Ceremony

The dedication and hard work of all the participants did not go unnoticed. Exceptional projects competed for a chance to win grants from a significant pool of $10 million, with Fuse Grants starting at $10,000 to help further develop and scale the most promising solutions.

We are excited to invite everyone to the Closing Ceremony on August 20th to celebrate our participants’ achievements and announce the hackathon winners. The ceremony will also feature insights from key leaders in the blockchain industry and reflections on the projects developed during the hackathon.

This ceremony will recognize the hard work of all participants and highlight the collaborative efforts that made the Fuse Summer 2024 Hackathon a success. It celebrates how innovation, supported by a strong community and a robust platform like Fuse, can transcend geographical and cultural barriers to create real-world solutions.
