We are thrilled to announce the integration of Fuse Network into the Layer 2 cross-rollup bridge on Orbiter Finance. This integration will further enhance the interoperability between Fuse and other blockchain networks and improve the user experience when making transfers.
This is an important step in securing the seamless multi-chain foundation of Web3. With more protocols and solutions attempting to address the capital inefficiency problem on the blockchain and its siloed nature, bridges like Orbiter Finance are instrumental in connecting the crypto ecosystem together.
About Orbiter Finance and How it Works
As a decentralized cross-rollup bridge for transferring Ethereum-native assets, Orbiter Finance simplifies bridging ETH and USDC from other networks to the Fuse Network. The system assigns users two roles: Sender and Maker. A “Maker” must first deposit an excess deposit into Orbiter’s contract before being eligible to become a cross-rollup service provider for a “Sender.” Senders can send assets to Markers on their selected Source network whereas Makers send assets back to Senders over a Destination network.

Security and Efficiency in Cross-Rollup Transfers
Orbiter Finance combines a cross-rollup mechanism with the Ethereum data layer, which limits the harmful potential of network attacks. FUSE users can now save time moving assets from Fuse Network to 50 supported layer 2 blockchains including: Ethereum, Starknet, zkSync, Loopring, Arbitrum, Arbitrum Nova, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain, Immutable X, Solana, TON, BOB, Bitlayer, and other ETH and BTC Layer 2s.
Orbiter Finance brings a layer of security and confidentiality to transactions as transfers are not subject to risks common in other cross-chain bridges. Users also enjoy optimal time and settlement costs as the process takes place between the sender’s externally owned account and the creator on the Source and Destination networks. Since the sender does not need to interact directly with the contract address, they are saving on waiting time and costs.
Enhancing Fuse Network’s Compatibility and Ecosystem Growth
We are confident this latest integration will increase Fuse Network’s compatibility with the broader Layer 2 ecosystem of Ethereum. Maximizing costs and time will make the transfer of FUSE tokens to other blockchains more convenient and faster, further supporting the growth and adoption of the Fuse ecosystem.
